It is used to obtain two of the four floppy disks for N31L, open the room closed off by the two forcefields, obtain the button from the wall within Wyler's theater and using it to rip out N31L's head from the control panel and also bring him to the Pack-a-Punch Machine. The Entangler is used during the map's main easter egg a few times. Once captured, they can be launched at other zombies to kill them. As a special weapon which can be equipped by pressing left on the D-Pad, the player can use the Entangler to grab ahold of zombies, turning them into ghosts. After it is obtained, the Entangler will spawn in the center of the Cargo Bay in front of Trail Blazers. To unlock it in The Beast From Beyond, the player must have collected the second skull for Skullbreaker.
Releasing the fire button will launch the object depending on where the player is looking. It will send a beam to the object before it pulls it to the player. To capture one of these, the player must aim at a ghost or cube with the Entangler and hold the fire button. The Entangler is used primarly in the Ghosts 'N Skulls machines to capture ghosts and cubes and later throw them at the skulls.
It appears in all of the Ghosts 'N Skulls machines and can also be used outside of the machines in The Beast From Beyond, where it plays a pivotal role in the map's main easter egg. The Entangler is a special wonder weapon featured in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies mode.
